Hell everyone,
I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday and a Happy New Year. Now it is time to get back to work. I have to say that is course has taught me a lot. I think that some of my issues are still with my lack of confidence with my spelling and my grammar, but that is why I use spell check all the time. I know that it will not help me with the words that sound the same for example, weather and whether. I will just have to trust that I use the right one.
I have not had any comments on my blog. I wish that I had. I do like the advice and nice thoughts that Professor M has done. I do not know if I will continue to use my blog. I have a facebook account and I can not get myself to go onto it everyday. We will see. I have enjoyed blogging. It is a fun way to let people know what you are up to.
Thank you all for your advice on the discussion boards. I wish yo all good luck with your up coming classes.

Peer reviews
How do you feel about peer reviews? What have your experiences with them been like?
There are times when I have someone else look over my work and I get embarrassed. I have a very low level of self esteem at times, when it comes to me having someone read my papers. I am not a very good speller nor am I good at punctuation and grammar and I think at time I make no sense when I write. I do take advice well at times, and sometimes I do not. When given advice that I do not like, I end up thinking that the person dose not get my point of view. When given good advice or complements I sometime think people are doing that to make me feel good, because they do not want to hurt my feelings. I have never had any bad experiences with advice so far.
Now when it comes to giving advice, I have a hard time with that. Like I said before, I am not very good at spelling and all that stuff. So I am afraid that I will make thing worse. I am better at telling people how Ifell then to type it out.

Challenges
Hello everyone,
First off I would like to wish all of you a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season. For this blog we are to discuss what we have been dealing with for the last six weeks.
These past six weeks have gone by so fast. I am pleased to say that I have been doing well in my classes, and I am learning a lot. I am getting nervous though because I have been very fortunate that I do not have to work while I am going to school. I lost my job and was able to collect unemployment and go to school. My unemployment is ending in January and I am praying I am able to an extension to carry me for a little longer. I am worried if I have o go back to work I will not be able to keep up with school.
On the other hand my daughter is very excited that Christmas is coming soon. Today was her last day of school for winter break we are going to make cookies soon. That is about it for what has been going on for the last six weeks.

Hello everyone,
I chose to do, if there was one thing about your academic challenges, what would it be? MY GRADES!!!
When I first thought about going back to school I was so worried I would not do well and that everyone would be disappointed in me. I was afraid of getting bad grades. I did not get the best of grades when I was in school. I brought home passing grades. I am doing well in my classes, better than I thought I would be. I have surprised myself. I guess it is different going to school when you are older and not right out of high school. You have a better scene what the world is about and you have a better understanding of how hard you have to work to get what you want. When you are younger you feel that you will miss out on something if you have to study for a test or do your homework. When you are younger all you want to do is be with your friends and have fun. I know going back to school now is a challenge, but I have a better appreciation for knowing that I can do it and I can still have fun...

Citations
Based upon your readings on plagiarism, why do you think we need to cite our sources?
We should cite the sources we use when we do a research paper or any paper because we did not do the leg work on that information. The authors or people who did the papers, articles that we are using put in a lot of time and effort to get their story and they should get the credit.
If I was to put in all that time and effort for something I would want to get the credit for it. It would be like putting in a lot of hours at work to help out with a project and another coworker took the credit for it. .
